codes and conventions I first of all thought i would use

These are the codes and conventions that I had decided on using when I was first planning my radio play extract after listening to many other radio plays. These included:

• Silence- I knew this effect would be helpful as it would give myself a chance to put a small pause in                  where there would be a break between the interviews and the other scenes.
• Sounds- I knew sounds would be key as this would set the mood of the radio play extract, and how it               would be imagined to be like through the rest of the play. 
• Use of character voices- I knew this would also be key as this would give me the chance to give the character's individual identities.
